A brand new Decade

It’s been a year, hasn’t it?

For me, this past year has brought my absolute lowest lows and some stratospheric highs. I’ve spent lots of time in reflection: on the kind of person I am, the kind of person I was, and the kind of person I still hope to be. What I want out of this life came into sharp and sometimes painful, relief.

If you’ve visited this site before, you may be wondering at all the changes. I’ve moved from my old host—I’ve been with them for 13 years, and they’ve done good by me, but I wasn’t using all the tools. Initially, I’d wanted this site to be a showcase and playground for my web development skills, but as time went on and priorities shifted I moved away somewhat from that space.

What you’ll see now is a more focussed outlet. It’s me as a writer sharing some experimental stories with the world. I say experimental, because they will be hyptertext tales, linking all over the place and back on one another, haha.

From time to time there’ll also be posts like this, where I write about life or review games I’ve played, or touch on topics I’d like to address.

Who knows what this new decade will bring? I hope to remain positive and face any challenges head on. I trust you will too. Stay safe, and love each other.
